Family of Funds

We work with donors to fulfill their charitable goals by structuring charitable funds that are customized to fit their unique goals, easy to implement, and supported by our broad community knowledge and expertise. Following is a list of funds individuals, families, business, civic groups, and agencies have established to benefit Knox County now and forever into the future. Zack Arnold Memorial Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund established in memory of Zack Arnold by his father, Brian L. Arnold, and his family to help graduating seniors of Knox County high schools pursue advanced education.

Bad Medicine Band Unrestricted Fund
An unrestricted fund created by members of the Bad Medicine Band to support the Foundation's unrestricted grantmaking.

Donald G. Bell VU Fund
A designated fund created by Donald G. Bell to benefit Vincennes University.

Donald G. Bell YMCA Fund
A designated fund created by Donald G. Bell to benefit the YMCA of Vincennes.

Heather Bird Memorial Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund created by Robert H. Bird in memory of his daughter.

Brent Bierhaus Unrestricted Fund
An unrestricted fund established by Robert V. Bierhaus Jr. in memory of his son to help the Foundation respond to changing needs in the community.

Brent C. Bierhaus Memorial Fund
A designated fund created in memory of Brent C. Bierhaus by his father, Robert V. Bierhaus, Jr., and his sister Jane Bierhaus Young to benefit the First Presbyterian Church, the YMCA of Vincennes, and Vincennes University.

Brent Collins Bierhaus Memorial Scholarship Fund
A designated fund created by Robert V. Bierhaus, Jr., in memory of his son to benefit the Vincennes University Foundation.

Camp Arthur Fund
An agency fund created by the Arthur Foundation for repairs and maintenance of Camp Arthur.

Keith Carie Fund
A designated fund created by Michael E. Quayle to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dr. Herbert and Edna Chattin Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund
A designed fund created by the children of Dr. Herbert and Edna Chattin in their memory to benefit the Vincennes University Foundation.

Christian Educational Foundation of Vincennes Fund
An agency fund created by the Christian Educational Foundation.

Harry Custred Fund of the Vincennes Rotary Club Foundation
An agency fund established by the Vincennes Rotary Club Foundation to support the Harry Custred Memorial Scholarship.

Bruce Hensel Memorial Fund
A donor-advised fund created to honor the memory of Bruce Hensel, a servant leader who worked to better his community. He was a mentor, a listener, an innovator, a steward and a role model who challenged and sup­ported others to be their best.

Hilliard Lyons Unrestricted Fund
An unrestricted fund created by Hilliard Lyons to help the Foundation respond to changing needs in the community.

Horizon Fund
Created by the Knox County Community Foundation, with the support of current and past board members, as a permanent source of funding for the Foundation's operations.

Persis McClure Hurst Memorial Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund created by Sarah H. Keller in memory of her mother.

Carol Jenks Memorial Fund
A designated fund created by Michael E. Quayle in memory of his friend to benefit the Lincoln Trail Hospice and the Knox County Humane Society.

Dr. William E. Johnson Memorial Fund
A designated fund created by Viktoria K. Johnson in mem­ory of her husband to benefit the Knox County 4H Associa­tion and the Vincennes Lincoln High School Choir Boosters.

M. Joan Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund

Bertha Wallace Reynolds Fund
An unrestricted fund established in memory of Bertha Wallace Reynolds, a woman with tremendous fortitude, dignity, and determination. Her children, Dwight Reynolds, Bruce Hensel and Nancy Reynolds Hensel, and Shirley Reynolds Rock set up the fund in honor of her devotion and dedication to them, her sweet kindness to all, her never-give-up attitude, and her adventurous spirit that kept a twinkle in her eye.

United Insurance Services Education Fund
A designated fund established by United Insurance Services Inc. of Vincennes to award scholarships to students transferring from Vincennes University to study insurance and risk management at Indiana State University.

United Insurance Services Education Supplement Fund
